Responsibilities

The Cloud Engineer will design, engineer, and integrate the cloud environment that forms the foundation of the WDP System.

Implement and manage cloud services, optimize the cloud architecture for performance and cost, and ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and highly available.

Architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions to meet specific requirements, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud resource provisioning, and establish cloud governance policies and guardrails.

Design and implement cloud networking solutions including VPCs, subnets, and connectivity to on-premises resources, configure cloud security services and controls to protect cloud resources, and implement cloud monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into operations.

Optimize cloud resource utilization to control costs, implement auto-scaling solutions to handle variable workloads, and design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for cloud workloads.

Evaluate new cloud services and features for potential adoption, maintain cloud architecture documentation, and provide cloud expertise to other teams.
