Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Systems Sustainment Engineer, Maritime, (internally known at Anduril as Product Support Engineer), to join our rapidly growing team in Quincy, MA. In this role, you will own and drive all aspects of sustainment, focusing on maintenance planning, technical data, sparing, and lifecycle management of our Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). You will develop and maintain critical sustainment artifacts, ensuring they remain up-to-date and aligned with product evolution. Collaborating closely with engineering, quality, reliability, and operations teams, you will create and execute comprehensive plans that support the long-term reliability and operational readiness of our systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Anduril’s AUVs, UUVs, & USVs meet the highest standards of performance and maintainability throughout their lifecycle. From crafting detailed maintenance strategies to managing technical documentation and spare parts planning, your expertise will play a vital role in enabling Anduril’s mission to transform Autonomous Underwater Vehicle operations.
Develop and maintain comprehensive, ground-up sustainment plans for AUVs, UUVs, & USVs
Partner with customers, operations teams, and engineering teams to define and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies
Ensure the availability of up-to-date maintenance procedures, tools, and technical manuals to support sustainment operations
Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for all sustainment-related matters within the product team

The Deployment Engineering team at Anduril focuses on creating and executing sustainment strategies for our fielded products, ensuring that sustainment is treated as a first-class priority. This team owns all aspects of sustainment, partnering with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver exceptional support and long-term lifecycle management. Key focus areas include maintenance planning, technical data, sparing, and lifecycle management. Our mission is to ensure that our operations teams and customers have the resources and support they need to sustain our Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), ensuring these technologies remain operational, reliable, and effective in the field.
