Requirements

Legally permitted to work in Canada;

University degree or a valid Inter-provincial trade qualification certificate in a related field;

Certification or advanced training in maintenance planning;

Minimum three (3) years in a planning role and or maintenance scheduling in a mining environment;

Strong SAP, computer and MS Office skills including MS Project, Visio and PowerPoint;

Experience with project scheduling software and computer aided drafting packages would be an asset;

Responsibilities

This position reports to the Plant Maintenance Supervisor the incumbent will be responsible for integrating and maintaining site services and scheduling system while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect the values of De Beers.

Quarterly operational bonus program;

Remote Mine Site Allowance;

The Gahcho Kué Mine camp features a full-service dining room, and individual private bedrooms equipped with satellite cable television, telephones, and WiFi internet.

Developing and implementing daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal schedules in SAP for maintenance activities according to production needs and resource availability to minimize downtime or production losses;

Analyzing and interpreting maintenance trends and variances and initiating required corrective action;
