Purchasing Supervisor

3+ plus years of progressive leadership roles within sourcing, supply chain, operations, or project management

Demonstrated experience in leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating value for end customers, and driving operational excellence within areas of responsibility.

Strong financial acumen – the ability to utilize fundamental concepts of finance to manage budgets, forecast costs, and provide relevant information for data driven decision-making.

Customer service skills: It is essential that you are customer focused – you must think and act from customer perspective

It is The ability to approach problems systematically and develop scalable solutions will be critical to succeeding in this role.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and suppliers

This role provides leadership to the Harlan and Blenheim purchasing teams and coordinates with other plants to improve processes and drive efficiencies for CPM.

This position will also work with the CPM Global Corporate Supply Chain team to develop new suppliers and best leverage our CPM worldwide production footprint.

Up to 25% travel will be required to suppliers and other CPM facilities.

Support operations in filling day to day needs for the organization

Source, select, and develop supply base and on-time delivery of the supplier base

Determine domestic versus foreign sourcing (landed costs, exchange rates, etc.) strategy.
