Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Over 6 years of industry experience, with a proven track record of solving complex problems.
Strong proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Go, Java, C/C++, Scala, or Python.
Working knowledge of cloud AWS / AZURE
Experience in architecting and developing large-scale systems, coupled with strong proficiency in distributed systems and data storage concepts.
Demonstrated ability to guide other engineers in the design and implementation of scalable software solutions.
Responsibilities
Software Development:
Understand and enhance the current product, help with POCs, sales and make sure customers have US time support
Backend Services:
Should have understanding of backend services that integrate with and ingest data from various on-premise data centers and cloud providers.
Technical Ownership:
Take end-to-end responsibility for technical solutions ensuring system scalability and meeting high customer demands.
About the Company
The Active Directory and Okta teams, part of Rubrik's Enterprise Data Protection (EDP) division, are dedicated to protecting Active Directory and Okta data. Their responsibilities include developing data protection solutions such as backup and restore, and integrating AD/Okta as an Identity Provider into Rubrik's security platform.
Identity protection is a rapidly expanding business area and team within Rubrik. We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Engineer to join our team. In this key position, you will work closely with our product team, development team and help the sales in the US. A core focus of your role will be being an expert of the existing features, debugging and implementing complex, scalable, and fault-tolerant backend solutions for customers.
As a Sr. Engineer, you will be responsible for engaging with customers to understand their POC, deployment and product issues and solve them. When required you will collaborate with the engineering in India and product teams to resolve these issues.
As a Sr. Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping team projects, delivering large-scale solutions to intricate problems, and driving strategic impact at US time. You will also be instrumental in nurturing the growth of other engineers, guiding them through mentorship and coaching.
