Requirements

The ideal candidate will have skills with AutoCAD, REVIT, Hydraulic Calculations, specification writing, familiarity with applicable building codes, cost estimating and other plumbing engineering tasks.

Maintain strong client relations as it pertains to project deliver and repeat business.

Responsibilities

STV is seeking a dynamic Plumbing Designer/Plumbing Engineering Specialist to join our team in the Boston, MA office.

The Buildings Division provides design services to both public agencies and private corporations.  Current projects include public transit, convention centers, and transportation maintenance facilities; municipal buildings such as public work facilities; and light commercial / retail.  Other potential projects include correctional facilities, law enforcement, public health, and both K-12 and higher education buildings.

Key responsibilities will include the preparation of Plumbing designs, calculations, estimates, reports and specifications for building projects.

Additional responsibilities will include site survey of existing conditions, construction punch lists and meeting with clients to discuss project matters and making recommendations when necessary based on the clients’ needs.
