Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.

Responsibilities
As part of an integrated architecture and systems engineering team within a multi-company program, the candidate will help define the operational, physical, functional, and technical architectures that enable the program’s evolving vision and capabilities. The role involves architecting missile defense command and control systems that integrate existing and COTS/GOTS components while ensuring DoD interoperability.
The candidate will analyze high-level requirements, develop system architecture solutions for emerging capabilities, and collaborate closely with lead systems, software, network, and cyber architects. This position requires strong communication and coordination across multiple teams, including software development, network engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, infrastructure, testing, and deployment.
The candidate will present architecture concepts to diverse audiences, engage with project leads, product owners, and MDA customers, and serve as a focal point for system architecture throughout development, testing, and deployment. Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will maintain current knowledge of developing technologies and design methodologies in DoD Command and Control and commercial IT solutions.
