Requirements

3+ years of product management experience with direct ownership of a vertical product line or platform, including roadmap and end-to-end product experience.

Strong technical fluency - comfort with AI/ML products, API integrations, and complex system design.

Experience driving adoption in complex enterprise environments with multi-persona buying committees.

Experience with ambient AI, NLP, clinical documentation, or chart summarization technology.

Prior 0-to-1 product vertical experience.

Compensation & Benefits

The base compensation for this role is approximately

$200,000 - $230,000 per year

, excluding equity and bonus. We've built in a wide range so candidates have flexibility in how they balance cash and equity. We lean toward generous equity grants - we want the people building Ambience to share meaningfully in what they create.

Responsibilities

Inpatient Clinical Workflows PM

, you'll own the clinician-facing features at the heart of Ambience's inpatient platform - the documentation and chart intelligence capabilities that define the core product experience for hospitalists and specialists.

You'll be accountable for two product pillars.

the documentation experience purpose-built for inpatient workflows, from admission through discharge, handling the full complexity of rounding, handoffs, multidisciplinary coordination, and discharge summaries.

(Patient Summary & Chart Chat) - the AI-powered chart intelligence layer that enables inpatient clinicians to rapidly synthesize patient history, surface relevant clinical context, and interact conversationally with the medical record.

Done well, this role makes Ambience indispensable for inpatient clinicians - transforming how hospitalists and specialists document, synthesize, and act on clinical information across the entire care episode.
