Requirements
Ten years minimum experience in budgeting/estimating ground-up and large scale renovation of residential, hospitality and mixed-use projects
Knowledge of GMP style estimating and leveling process
Knowledge of New York City subcontractor base and market pricing, union and non-union preferably

Responsibilities
A Senior Project Estimator serves a vital function in the growth of a construction company.
The Senior Project Estimator is responsible for accurately estimating the total costs associated with a project.
They review subcontractor bids in order to choose the most cost effective option.
Serve as a lead estimator on complex projects from pursuit through buyout
Prepare detailed conceptual budgets from pre-construction, concept design, schematic design, and design development documents
Perform detailed take-offs of all trades
