Manager, Engineering Operations

Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.

Experience managing or operating hybrid infrastructure (cloud and on-premises).

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or similar).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern DevOps practices.

Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and production operations.

Proven ability to lead incident response and drive operational improvements.

Tucows Domains is looking for a Manager, Engineering Operations to lead the team responsible for the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and platforms.

This is a working manager role, you will lead and mentor a team of engineers while remaining technically engaged in the systems that power our services.

You will help shape the strategy and operations of our infrastructure across AWS and on-premises environments, ensuring our platforms remain resilient, secure, and scalable as the business grows.

You’ll partner closely with engineering teams across the organization to improve operational practices, modernize infrastructure, and ensure we deliver reliable systems for our customers.
