Responsibilities
The Telemedic supports ongoing delivery of teleconferenced stroke care as identified by the IDHI Stroke Program.
He/she works under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and within the EMT or paramedic scope of practice.
Assists in identifying and tracking all calls to the Call Center and data on referrals and case managed patients.
Assists with real-time telemedicine stroke consultations
Supports call center operations and patient care coordination
Tracks and documents incoming calls, referrals, and managed cases
