Intern, Battery Manufacturing

Experience modeling components in CAD

Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, thermal, and/or fluid system design

Understanding of 2D drawing layout and GD&T

Collegiate teams such as Formula SAE, Baja SAE, EcoCAR, Supermileage, etc.

Hands-on experience working on vehicles

Knowledge of hybrid / electric vehicle systems and components preferred

As an intern, you will have various opportunities to contribute to the design and development of a new electric vehicle battery system.

The primary responsibilities for this position will be to work with the Battery manufacturing team designing manufacturing processes equipment and fixtures.

The role also offers the opportunity to build valuable experience at a fast paced, high growth startup during a critical early product development stage.

Design test fixtures; overseeing the manufacturing and implementation of the designs

Participate as part of the manufacturing team in prototype builds

Create work instructions and work to resolve issues identified during prototype builds
