Seasonal Medical Assistant (MA) - Urgent Care

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Certification or demonstrated prior experience:

Medical Assistant certification with at least one (1) year of experience

or

two (2) years of experience working as a Medical Assistant.

As a Seasonal Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting healthcare providers, and ensuring smooth clinic operations during our busy summer months in the Falmouth clinic. We are looking for seasonal full-time and per diem employees, with a tentative employment timeline running from early June to late August. Although a seasonal position, there may be potential opportunity to extend employment.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to improving health outcomes and promoting wellness in our community.

Patient Interaction:

Engage with patients in a welcoming and professional manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance and information regarding their medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications.

Explain prescribed medications, including dosage instructions and potential adverse reactions.
