Requirements

LICENSES/CREDENTIALS: Valid Washington Food Handler\u2019s Permit (can be obtained after start of employment if no current Food Handler\u2019s Permit); Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration; Per RCW 28A.400.303, employees of contractors that \u201Chave regularly scheduled unsupervised access to children\u201D are required to go through FBI fingerprinting.

This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency.

KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge and understanding of educational systems and child development; knowledge of or ability to learn ABA techniques

Responsibilities

\u2022 Assist program staff in maintaining a therapeutic and structured classroom environment.

\u2022 Provide direct observation and 1:1 support for students with behavioral challenges.

\u2022 Participate in behavioral interventions to promote compliance with program expectations.

\u2022 Deliver immediate, therapeutic crisis interventions when necessary.

\u2022 Collaborate with the team to implement individualized behavior plans.

\u2022 Provide input for daily and weekly student progress summaries.
