Requirements
10+ years of litigation experience, including substantive experience at a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal department, with at least 3+ years in a people-management or team-leadership capacity.
Litigation Expertise:
Demonstrated experience handling all phases of complex litigation from pleadings through trial/appeal, including significant motion practice, discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
Exceptional analytical and strategic planning abilities with a proven record of developing creative, business-aligned solutions to complex legal problems.

Responsibilities
Team & Function Leadership
Directly manage, mentor, and develop the Senior Litigation Counsel and other litigation team members (as hired); conduct performance reviews and support career development;
Own resourcing and workload allocation across the litigation team, ensuring appropriate coverage;
Strengthen scalable litigation processes, playbooks, and templates (pleadings, discovery protocols, litigation hold procedures) to drive consistency and efficiency;
Serve as the escalation point on complex strategic or judgment calls, looping in the Deputy GC on matters of significant exposure or novel legal risk;
Partner with the Deputy GC on department-level planning, including litigation budget development, outside counsel panel management, and legal technology/AI tooling decisions.
