Responsibilities

Parkland County has a casual Bus Driver position available in the Community Services Department.

Reporting to the Social Development Coordinator, this position is responsible for the safe operation of Parkland County’s Seniors’ bus in the delivery of transportation services.

The role provides public transportation primarily for passengers aged sixty-five plus (65+) years of age and older, with accommodations made for other demographics as required, including individuals with physical and/or cognitive disabilities.

Hold a valid Standard First Aid with CPR Certification.

Previous experience driving passenger vehicles such as a shuttle, bus or similar vehicle.

Proven ability to safely assist passengers with varying mobility levels, including boarding, seating, and exiting the vehicle.
