Requirements
7+ years of relevant experience, including:
2+ years in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, strategic finance, or consulting (with material CDD / Private Equity experience)
3-5+ years in Strategic Finance, FP&A, or BizOps (with a material data / financial focus) roles at a DTC or consumer-facing company
Deep expertise in DTC unit economics and growth efficiency metrics. This includes a strong understanding of acquisition funnels, cohort analysis, and CLV
Ability to operate at both strategic and highly detailed levels
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners
Responsibilities
Ethos is looking for an ambitious self-starter to join our Finance & Strategy team.
The Senior Manager / Director, Strategic Finance will own financial strategy and performance management for our direct-to-consumer (DTC) business. You will serve as a financial thought partner to leaders across Marketing, Product, and Sales, with a specific focus on DTC modeling, user acquisition, profitability, and new businesses evaluation. You will also be responsible for interfacing with external partners through either a Corp Dev or BizDev lens in support of these objectives.
This role is ideal for a data-driven finance leader with deep experience in consumer unit economics, scaling DTC businesses, and who is willing to dive deep into the data & operations of the business.
This role will have high visibility across the executive team and will require you to solve the most complex, interesting challenges of a rapidly-scaling startup.
