Responsibilities

The US Logistics Operations Specialist orchestrates and implements comprehensive logistics strategies for US operations, while driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and performance across the supply chain network.  The Logistics Operations Specialist is responsible for the daily execution of transport planning and shipment management for North American Packaged Goods operations.

This role manages the end-to-end process from delivery receipt through carrier confirmation, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods across all transport modes.

The specialist serves as the primary operational interface between Syngenta and its carrier partners, driving load optimization, cut-off compliance, and exception resolution within the TMS.

Execute daily transportation planning, load optimization, consolidation, and carrier tendering activities across the North American packaged goods network using the TMS.

Manage transportation execution, including carrier selection, shipment tracking, exception resolution, spot bids, and priority shipments to ensure on-time delivery and service performance.

Coordinate with warehouses, plants, tollers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure planning cut-offs, delivery requirements, and operational commitments are met.
