Responsibilities

The Associate Director of Finance - Pharmacy for the Pharmacy Enterprise Service Line is a leadership position that reports to the Senior Director of Finance for the James Cancer Hospital.

The Associate Director is responsible for preparing, implementing, and monitoring the key financial and operational priorities of the Pharmacy Enterprise Service Line.

The Associate Director of Finance - Pharmacy functions as an integral member of the Pharmacy Finance team.

The position provides direction and supervision to the department’s financial analyst(s) and provides leadership support to the Pharmacy Operations Team, Health System Financial Services, Strategic Planning, Managed Care/Revenue Cycle team, and other key stakeholders.

The Associate Director of Finance - Pharmacy is committed to developing comprehensive and complex financial analyses and business plans and takes initiative to form and lead multidisciplinary committees as needed throughout the process.

The position guides the execution of approved business plans through the budgeting process and ongoing variance reporting.
