Quality Specialist (Entry-Level)

Basic level knowledge of quality assurance testing and automated testing tools, including mobile testing.

Basic level knowledge level of business-related software applications and services.

Basic level knowledge of NISC’s technology stacks.

Basic level knowledge of the Utility or Broadband industries.

Basic level ability to set and manage internal and external Member/Customer expectations.

Basic level knowledge of software and software integrations.

Assist and perform in testing basic level tasks to test software changes meet design specification and are functioning within total quality management standards.

Research, test and report results of testing scenarios.

Write releases notes and new system enhancement documentation.

Participate on design teams regarding enhancements to products.

Test system documentation as necessary and suggest edits/enhancements.

Answer basic level questions regarding application screens and processes responsible for testing.
