Completion of a NAACLS-accredited phlebotomy program.

Previous phlebotomy and point-of-care testing experience.

Under the supervision of the Section Supervisor, performs waived CLIA laboratory testing, phlebotomy, specimen collection and processing, patient registration, and other laboratory support duties.

Provides quality customer service and maintains laboratory equipment and supplies.

Monitors and records daily temperatures and performs scheduled maintenance of equipment as needed.

Utilizes technical training and acquires in-depth knowledge of the LIS and its functions.

Performs order/entry, inquiry, crediting, and other basic LIS functions in the laboratory information system according to policies and procedures.

Performs and assesses results of Quality Control activities according to Section Policy and Procedures.
