Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for the technical direction, architectural integrity, and operational maturity of Axon’s core infrastructure platforms.
This includes ownership of our virtualization environments, storage platforms, cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS), database services, and foundational platform services that support both corporate IT and product-facing teams.
You will act as the senior technical authority for infrastructure architecture—making design decisions, setting standards, and guiding execution—while remaining hands-on where it matters most.
Your work will directly influence how Axon scales its environments, improves reliability, controls cost, and supports business-critical workloads across on-prem and cloud ecosystems.
In this role, you will lead and manage a team of Server and Infrastructure Engineers, providing technical direction, mentoring, and prioritization, while partnering closely with Network Architecture, Platform Engineering, Security, and Product (R&D) teams.
You will serve as a key interface between corporate infrastructure and product engineering, ensuring infrastructure solutions are well-architected, secure, and aligned with Axon’s long-term strategy.
