Requirements

The ideal candidate will have completed their sophomore year in one of the following disciplines: Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:

Participate actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.

Responsibilities

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be assisting in a variety of areas:

Civil designs for industrial facilities renovations and expansions including process and plumbing

Remediation of hazardous waste sites, underground storage tank removal, phase 1 investigations, and environmental compliance

Remedial design activities: basis of design/pilot studies, remedial design reports and action plans, permit applications and contract documents, remedial action activities such as bid assistance and contractor selection

Assist in gathering and recording information to be used for writing specifications.

Assist in reviewing vendor drawings to assure compliance with specifications.

As our new Industrial Wastewater Intern, you will be part of a team dedicated to working with industrial clients and deliver a wide range of water-related counselling; from early phase strategic analyses and project scoping to designing and implementing infrastructure solutions.
