Requirements
7+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Project Manager leading multiple teams.
Demonstrated success delivering complex software projects, including systems integrations and vendor implementations.
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban; SAFe or equivalents) and Agile metrics/diagnostics.
Hands-on experience with Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).
Experience with Aderant (or similar legal practice management/billing systems).
Familiarity with financial systems, ERPs, or billing system integrations.
Responsibilities
Wilson Elser seeks a Senior Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager with 7+ years of experience to lead cross-functional delivery for two Agile teams who are currently developing in-house practice of law software systems and unified data platforms. This role will drive Agile adoption within the firm, manage complex integrations, and apply formal project-management practices where appropriate to support successful product delivery. The ideal candidate blends strong Scrum coaching with practical PM discipline and experience supporting legal or professional services systems. Additionally, the ideal candidate needs to be adaptable, excel at facilitating change, and foster collaboration through servant-leadership.
Lead and coach multiple agile delivery teams and facilitate scrum ceremonies to drive predictable delivery.
Partner with Product Owners, IT, Legal Operations, and project sponsors to prioritize work, define scope, and maintain a well-refined backlog.
Manage cross-team dependencies, systems integrations, and database / data lake implementations.
Track and report delivery metrics, roadmaps, release plans, and program status to technical and executive stakeholders.
Remove impediments, resolve conflicts, and escalate risks; proactively manage stakeholder expectations and change requests.
