Requirements
Strong understanding of foundational electrical concepts (Ohm’s law, AC/DC circuits, power electronics fundamentals).
Experience using common lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
Ability to read and analyze electrical schematics and PCB layouts (Altium, KiCad, EasyEDA, etc.).
Exposure to electrical simulation or modeling tools (LTspice, PLECS, MATLAB, etc.).
Exposure to programming languages such as C or C++, and willingness to learn scripting for test automation.
Coursework or project experience in power electronics (DC-DC converters, rectifiers, inverters, etc.).

Responsibilities
At Amperesand, you will help design, develop, and deploy test systems that validate high-voltage, high-power electronics used in our Medium Voltage (MV) products.
You will work closely with hardware, firmware, and validation teams, participate in design reviews, and gain hands-on experience in MV labs, manufacturing processes, and debugging complex power systems.
This role is ideal for students with strong fundamentals in electrical engineering, a first-principles mindset, and a desire to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Design, deploy, and maintain test systems for high-voltage power electronics.
Define tester specifications, test methodologies, measurement approaches, and data analysis workflows.
Participate in cross-functional design reviews to help create robust, scalable, and safe testing procedures.
