Raise Leader

Alcohol and Drug Test, Site Specific Training, Site Specific Requirements.

Minimum 5 years of experience operating Alimak raise equipment.

Proven experience leading or supervising raise or construction crews preferred.

Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Specialty Module U0064 or provincial equivalent.

Strong knowledge of raise development methods, ground support, and underground construction practices.

Receive, clarify, and execute daily lineups from supervision.

Ensure proper lockout and tagging procedures are followed.

Install ground support, timbering, and services as required.

Operate and oversee the safe use of raise and support equipment in accordance with regulations and procedures.

Monitor crew performance and provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to crew members.
