Requirements
Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
Strong knowledge of data-structures, algorithms, and design pattern.
Fundamental understanding of industrial robotics including manipulator kinematics & dynamics, robot trajectory generation, and communications protocols.
Experience with open source robotic planning and manipulation software packages such as MoveIt and ROS.
Knowledge of unit-testing, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers & owners, engineers, and internal customers
Compensation & Benefits
At Divergent, our pay range is based on the level of the job. For this role, we will consider candidates at levels E05 - E06 as evaluated through our interview process.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software development best practices to ensure high-quality code, efficient testing, and timely releases.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure that our software integrates seamlessly with other software products.
Collaborate with senior engineers to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of software solutions for robot task and motion planning.
Design, implement, and optimize algorithms within our planning framework, leveraging your programming skills and understanding of robotics principles.
Assist in the integration and testing of computer vision software to ensure robustness and performance in real-world scenarios.
Stay updated on advancements in robot planning algorithms and technologies, and contribute fresh ideas and insights to the team.
