Requirements

Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Compensation & Benefits

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,

May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Support crystallization process development activities of the group through laboratory experiments including solubility screening experiments, kinetic solubility and metastable zone width measurements, and laboratory-scale crystallization experiments.

Hands-on generation of solid-state characterization data using powder X-ray diffraction and thermal methods such as differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA).

Analysis of product samples for key physical properties including particle size distribution and particle shape using optical microscopy and laser diffraction particle size analysis.

Support of technical initiatives that may involve the design, installation, repair, and maintenance of specialized laboratory equipment.  Comfortable with multitasking
