QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering or related field
Level I: Entry-level position
Level II: Minimum of two years of relevant practical experience and at least three years of electrical design experience

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Designs and modifies electrical systems, including cabinets, layouts, schematics, and control programming for various devices (e.g., motor speed controllers, temperature and pressure controllers).
Develops logic systems for sequence and timing control, adhering to electrical standards for machinery design.
Creates Bills of Materials for electrical system components and prepares electrical instructions and manuals.
Collaborates with other departments to resolve issues related to control systems, machine start-ups, and troubleshooting.

At Bekum America, we design and build innovative blow molding machines that power manufacturing around the world—and we’re looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer to help drive that innovation. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for advanced blow molding equipment, including schematics, control programming, logic systems, and industrial components such as Siemens devices. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to support machine start-ups, troubleshoot control systems, create Bills of Materials and technical documentation, and ensure every system meets rigorous engineering standards.
