Responsibilities

The Pediatric Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) provides healthcare in a variety of settings and has didactic education, clinical competency and national certification in pediatric clinical practice.

The NP/PA works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team (4 full time electrophysiologists, and 1 full time NP) on the inpatient electrophysiology and exercise physiology labs.

The role of the hired advanced practice provider will be to support the inpatient electrophysiology team including following functions:

H&P and discharge summaries for EP cases

Inpatient (floors, ICU, ED) consults at VCH

Inpatient device checks and reprogramming
