Litigation Paralegal

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree

Minimum of

3 years

of litigation paralegal experience in personal injury (auto accident experience strongly preferred)

Strong working knowledge of Illinois civil procedure and electronic filing systems

Excellent organizational, writing, and verbal communication skills

Hourly, non-exempt position

Eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable Illinois and federal wage and hour laws

Johnson Law Group is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our Chicago office in support of our Personal Injury Auto Accidents practice.

This role involves managing litigation matters from intake through trial, preparing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines.

Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, motions, and settlement documents for attorney review

Organize, review, and summarize medical records, police reports, and accident-related documentation

Coordinate with clients, medical providers, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel

Conduct legal and factual research to support case development and litigation strategy
