Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical systems.
Basic understanding of lubrication principles and mechanical components.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (PMs, OEM manuals, SDS sheets).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
Certification such as ICML Level I (MLT I or MLA I) or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities
Perform lubrication routes including greasing, oil changes, top-offs, and re-lubrication based on OEM requirements and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies.
Maintain proper lubricant inventory, storage, handling, and labeling according to contamination control standards.
Ensure correct lubricant selection for each asset, referencing OEM specs and plant lubrication standards.
Conduct routine inspections of bearings, motors, gearboxes, chains, couplings, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical assets.
Identify and report abnormalities such as overheating, noise, leaks, misalignment, and contamination.
Perform oil sampling, filter changes, and basic oil analysis tests (viscosity, moisture detection, particle assessment).
