Requirements

20+ years of relevant experience, with 10+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles, including enterprise software/cloud/data platforms

3+ years successfully leading division-level or equivalent pre-sales organizations, navigating high velocity change, organizational complexity, and cross-functional collaboration while delivering measurable revenue impact

Proven ability to set and execute strategic enterprise-wide change (e.g., GTM redesign, new product introductions, AI/modernization programs, major sales motion shifts) and design scalable operating models to drive sustained growth and measurable business impact

Demonstrated ability to anticipate market changes, customer needs, and drive innovation through investments in cloud/data/AI-driven GTM environments

Deep expertise and thought leadership in modern GTM and sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC / MEDDPICC), and a track record of institutionalizing these frameworks at scale—setting standards, inspecting rigor, and holding senior GTM leaders accountable to them

Track record of owning a full P&L or functional budget: making strategic investment decisions, managing tradeoffs, and improving productivity and ROI over time

Responsibilities

Define and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for the global Solutions Architecture organization, shaping our technical GTM, improving win rates, and driving our AI, modernization, and strategic workload priorities

Lead a large, global solutions architecture organization, ensuring the right structure, leadership bench, and operating model to support sustained growth across segments, regions, and products

Partner closely with Sales leadership to accelerate revenue growth, drive technical engagement on high-value opportunities, and foster strong executive relationships with strategic accounts

Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape roadmap priorities with field and customer insights, refine scalable technical narratives and reference architectures, and ensure seamless feedback loops into product decisions

Build and develop a world-class leadership talent pool, attracting, growing, and retaining top pre-sales talent while fostering an inclusive, high-performing, high-trust culture across regions and business segments

Design and drive accountability for best-practice operating rhythms (e.g., planning, reviews, forecasting contributions, KPIs like win rates and deal velocity) that optimize team performance and drive impactful outcomes
