1–4 years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent: strong internships, open source contributions, research)

Proficiency in at least one of: Haskell, Rust, C++, Go, or TypeScript

Comfort working in Linux environments

Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, systems concepts

Top Secret SCI security clearance

Responsibilities

You don't need to be an expert in electronic warfare — you need to be the kind of engineer who can pick up any part of the stack, figure out how it works, and make it better.

The problems here span embedded systems, backend services, data pipelines, deployment infrastructure, integration with Lattice OS, and operator-facing tools.

What matters most is your engineering fundamentals, your ability to ship reliable software under pressure, and your willingness to own problems end-to-end — from understanding the mission need to getting working code into the hands of operators.

Develop and maintain mission-critical software across the EW product stack

Build and improve deployment tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management systems

Integrate EW systems with the broader Anduril Lattice ecosystem

Anduril's Electronic Warfare (EW) division builds next-generation electronic warfare platforms — hardware-enabled, software-defined systems that are fielded, in production, and scaling from hundreds to thousands of units. The EW team operates at a tempo the defense industry isn't used to: delivering novel system configurations into active operations in days, not months, and iterating based on direct operator feedback from the field.

We are building a new Mission Software Engineering (MSE) team to own the full software lifecycle for EW products — from development and integration through deployment, sustainment, and customer success.
