Responsibilities
Nova Scotia Health is seeking family physicians to join a new and developing team at the Lunenburg County Primary Care Clinic (PCC) which is located in the Medical Arts Building Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.
The Lunenburg County PCC provides temporary primary care access to patients registered on the Need a Family Practice registry and living in the Lunenburg County area.
The clinic provides appointments for people who have an immediate health care need that requires care.
Patients can make an appointment with a healthcare provider at the clinic while they continue to remain on the registry to find a family practice.
This clinic is collaborative in nature and will consist of family physicians, nurse practitioners, family practice nurses, care team assistant, social worker and pharmacist.
It is managed by Nova Scotia Health with administrative support and is fully integrated on a Med Access.
