Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of experience in government, budget, financial services, consulting, or related fields.
Master’s degree in Economics, Government Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, Public Policy, or related field preferred and may be substituted for work experience.
Experience working with government officials and staff is preferred but not required

Responsibilities
The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic advisor to the City Treasurer, providing high level administrative, managerial, and analytical support to the City Treasurer’s Office.
This role will work with the Treasurer and Deputy Treasurers to set strategic priorities and steward projects from development to implementation and completion
Act as a key thought partner to the City Treasurer, brainstorming and identifying solutions to operational, financial, and strategic challenges.
Manage and/or represent CTO on large, often cross-functional projects or initiatives, including maintaining project calendars and tracking deliverables.
Work closely with the City Treasurer and Deputy Treasurers to manage and prioritize projects, provide updates on progress or deliverables, and address any challenges or roadblocks.
Assist in the development and management of the CTO’s annual budget.
