Power BI Developer

OR Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms such as Power BI Data Analyst Associate, or similar credentials demonstrating validated technical proficiency AND 3+ years of data and analytics experience.

2-4 years of relevant work experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related technical roles

Experience with version control systems such as Git and understanding of branching strategies, pull requests, and code review processes

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and experience working with dimensional models, slowly changing dimensions, and fact table grain

Knowledge of other Microsoft Power Platform components including Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power Query,

Exposure to Microsoft Purview, data cataloging, or data quality tools

HUB International is rapidly expanding our data product offerings and technological solutions and is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Power BI Developer, who is passionate about transforming data into actionable insights.

In this role, you will build sophisticated reports and applications that serve thousands of users across our enterprise, working within established governance frameworks and enterprise standards to ensure consistency, quality, and reliability.

The Power BI Developer plays a critical role in translating business needs into visual analytics solutions that drive strategic decisions across the organization.

You will work closely with product owners, quality assurance teams, engineers, and business stakeholders throughout HUB International to understand requirements, validate data, design intuitive user experiences, and deliver production-quality reports that meet enterprise standards for performance, security, and governance.

You will work within Agile Scrum methodology using two-week iterative sprints, tracking your work in Azure DevOps and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value incrementally.

The expected salary range for this position is $ 100,000 to $118,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
