Requirements

Resolve inquires and complaints from employees and management arising from interpretations of payroll regulations

Reconcile, verify and distribute payroll as required

Administer payroll from the input of data, improve payroll tracking as a result of changes in payroll policy

Troubleshoot payroll issues, prepare journal entries and balance to the general ledger

Prepare year-end reporting (year-end balancing, T4 reconciliation, EHT reconciliation, WSIB reconciliation, T2200)

Maintain employee profiles in the payroll system

Plan administrator for Canada Savings Bonds, including running and implementing the annual campaign

Responsibilities

Supervise department activities consistent with Dynacare\u2019s corporate mission and values while supporting the Company\u2019s strategic goals and objectives

Approve and submit timesheets to payroll ensuring accuracy and timely submission

Monitor compliance; collection, preparation, and analysis of department reports and statistics

Effectively administer human resource programs to help foster an environment of positive employee relations, empowerment and involvement while working in compliance with established human resources policies and practices

Ensure payroll data from management approved timesheets are entered in an organized, timely and accurate manner
