Responsibilities
Provides appropriate medical nutrition therapy goals for patients throughout the organization.
Educates patients regarding their diet/nutrition plan for discharge when needed.
Serves as a nutrition resource to physicians, nursing staff, and other health care team members.
Participates in patient care rounds.
Acts as the patient’s primary advocate for all aspects of nutrition care.
