Requirements

A genuine passion for food retailing and a people-first approach to work.

Typically requires completion of post-secondary education in a related discipline, plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in building/residential repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in general contracting or equipment maintenance considered an asset.

Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or refrigeration systems.

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify maintenance issues and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

You’ll support our vision by ensuring stores are well maintained, safe, and operating efficiently.

This role is responsible for the ongoing repair and general maintenance of store facilities, equipment, fixtures, and building assets.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to complete maintenance activities, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support store operations.

Conduct scheduled store inspections and complete maintenance checklists to identify and address repair and general maintenance needs.

Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair commercial equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Execute preventive maintenance programs and complete assigned work orders for maintenance, repairs, equipment installations, and system testing to ensure all activities are properly documented.
