Requirements
Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Lean and/or TPM training with hands-on application experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Broad technical knowledge of industrial equipment, automation, utilities, and facilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CMMS platforms.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this role is
$100,000 - $126,000
(Annual). Actual wage will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. While performing the duties of this job the Team Member will be required to wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. beard/hairnet, ear plugs, frock, boots, etc.), stand for extended periods of time, and use hands/arms to push, pull, reach and occasionally lift above head. The Team Member must occasionally lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds and 50 pounds infrequently. Team Members are requested to visually inspect equipment and/or product.
Responsibilities
The Assistant Maintenance Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This position oversees day-to-day maintenance activities across facilities, utilities, and production equipment while leading supervisors, planners, and technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, team development, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Reliability
Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for plant facilities and production equipment.
Support maintenance of HVAC, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, wastewater treatment, ovens, automated processing and packaging equipment, material handling systems, and utilities.
Implement and sustain maintenance programs with a strong emphasis on planning, scheduling, and reliability.
