Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle objects, tools or controls. Employee frequently is required to stand and talk or hear and occasionally is required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Degree in communications and/or equivalent work experience
3+ years of live studio television production experience
1+ year solid, medium to large sized market, local news TD/ Directing experience with Ross Overdrive Production Automation, or similar
Must have the ability to perform multiple technical responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of execution and reliability

Responsibilities
Automated Production Control (APC) environment utilizing the ROSS overdrive automated production control system
Responsible for the ultimate technical quality of productions
Robotic camera control system operation
Video clip playback server operation
Stage Managing: Direction of talent and other production crew members
Camera operation to include studio build-up, jib, handheld, etc.
