Requirements
We're looking for a seasoned procurement executive who can move fluidly between the plant floor & the port, someone who's just as comfortable driving a make-vs-buy analysis on extrusion inputs as they are negotiating with an overseas hardware supplier.
15+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or category management leadership, with significant time in vertically integrated, multi-site industrial or manufacturing environments
Proven success leading enterprise procurement organizations within manufacturing, industrial products, building materials, or distribution
Global sourcing experience across Asia, Europe & Mexico, with hands-on ownership of trade compliance, customs, tariffs/duties & international logistics
A track record managing high-complexity, multi-category spend supporting 10,000+ SKUs
Working knowledge of multiple ERP systems, including SAP, for spend analytics & supplier management
Responsibilities
You'll take the enterprise reins on sourcing strategy & procurement performance across a truly vertically integrated operation, spanning raw glass & primary aluminum billet, extrusion & fabrication inputs, overseas-sourced finished hardware, & indirect/capital spend across a global distribution network.
This is a build-and-lead mandate: you'll set the strategy, stand up category management & procurement operations disciplines, lead global sourcing & trade compliance, and grow a high-performing team, all while sitting on the Operations & Supply Chain leadership team.
Develop & execute a comprehensive enterprise procurement strategy that fuels growth, profitability, and supply continuity across manufacturing & distribution
Lead strategic sourcing across direct materials, indirect spend, logistics, equipment, services & capital expenditures to drive down total cost of ownership
Own global sourcing & trade compliance for hardware & distribution categories, including HTS classification, duty/tariff strategy, anti-dumping exposure, and CBP/BIS/OFAC adherence
Lead duty mitigation strategies (foreign trade zones, tariff engineering, supplier diversification) & navigate evolving trade policy, including Section 232/301 dynamics
