Requirements

Work closely with the software development teams at both Latitude and Ford in creating designs

Work closely with the Integration and Test team at Latitude to develop and execute the Design Verification Plan on benches, simulators, and vehicles

Periodically get hands-on with the product and see the designs in action

Experience working in automotive diagnostics

Experience with Python, C++, or other programming skills

Experience with autonomous vehicle testing

Responsibilities

Lead the systems engineering for automotive diagnostics and fault management systems at Latitude

Team

The Platform Systems, Integration, and Test Team at Latitude is responsible for the design, integration, and testing of all interface functions between the self-driving technology and vehicle platform. These functions include motion control, fault handling, and controls integration, along with the overall vehicle architecture. We specialize in parallelized development of prototype functionality and production designs, enabling all of Latitude to rapidly develop feature intent functionality without incurring significant technical debt.
