Software Engineer II

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development.

Direct experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.

Knowledge of RESTful APIs and general web service principles.

Familiarity Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with an eagerness to learn and take feedback.

Contribute to the development of backend systems that power the PlayStation platform as part of a collaborative Scrum team.

Work closely with other developers and teams to support the design and implementation of platform services.

Build and maintain scalable services using Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, including unit tests for features and bug fixes.

Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.
