Esoteric Coagulation Laboratory looking for a highly motivated and dedicated medical laboratory scientist interested in a challenging but rewarding career in special coagulation.

The laboratory offers a comprehensive menu of complex specialized coagulation assays that require meticulous attention to details.

Testing is performed using both highly automated and manual methods, including ELISA, FRET, and semi-automated gel electrophoresis for von Willebrand multimers. The laboratory also performs platelet function testing including platelet function screens, platelet aggregation, and Serotonin Release assays for heparin induced thrombocytopenia.

A basic knowledge of coagulation, either clinical or academic

Exhibit the precise and reproducible pipetting skills necessary for performing assays with multiple dilution steps

Participate in the development and validation of new assays
