Resource Nurse - Hemodialysis

CNeph completion or will complete within 2 years

Completion of Nephrology Nursing program or enrolled

A minimum of 5 years clinical practice experience in hemodialysis is required

Recent or previous charge nurse experience in hemodialysis

Possess clinical expertise and demonstrated exemplary clinical practice in hemodialysis nursing

Demonstrates awareness of and incorporates best practice and policies to guide clinical practice

Program Services Manager

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the Resource Nurse is responsible for inter and intradepartmental activities related to the day-to-day educational support of hemodialysis nursing staff.

Direct patient care as needed to support clinical operations and workflow.

Development of educational strategies that will improve overall functioning of the unit, enhancing clinical practice and quality patient care.
