Responsibilities
As an assistant engineer on the geotechnical team you will work on projects involving traditional geotechnical engineering analysis, foundation and subsurface design, and evaluation during construction.
You will be required to perform design calculations for shallow and deep foundations, including bearing capacity, settlement, and earth retention.
Team
Strong communication skills
Ability to contribute and work well on a team
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical engineering required
Must have obtained Engineer Intern (EI) or Engineering in Training (EIT) certificate
Technical skills in a wide range of geotechnical analysis and design
Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 30 pounds or more
