Direct supervisors with respect to production volume, quality, cost, and meeting production schedules and delivery dates.

Ensure adherence to procedures that promote the health and welfare of all employees in the departments.

Train and develop supervisors to provide management depth and develop a consciousness of the need for team work to attain department objectives.

Review daily production schedule for the department to plan work and personnel assignments; coordinate extra work to be accomplished.

Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production.

With appropriate management personnel, study operations where cost standards are not being met to determine causes and apply corrective measures.
