Technical CRO Manager, London, Lausanne

Essential:

BSc in Biology or a related technical field, or equivalent industrial experience.

5+ years industrial experience within a pharma, CRO or biotech environment.

2-3 years’ experience of directly implementing or managing international CROs in an industrial environment.

Solid understanding of the drug discovery process with an emphasis in biology and/or biologics.

Track record of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

As part of the ongoing expansion of our Drug Design and Medical Research function, we are recruiting a CRO manager to work alongside our world leading AI/ML Drug Design Platform teams. We don’t currently have wet labs, so you will directly contribute to our drug discovery projects by collaborating with internal stakeholders and being the primary point of contact for CRO relationships and deliverables. As a member of the Drug Discovery team you will be responsible for managing our CRO network, negotiating contracts, establishing working practices and optimising processes to speed up our Design-Make-Test-Analyse cycle. If you are a skilled and ambitious individual looking to take the next step in your career, joining Isomorphic Labs will lift you out of your comfort zone and provide you with an amazing opportunity for personal growth and development.

Drive the creation and implementation of a CRO management system and create effective ways of working.

Manage vendor relationships, monitoring efficiency and effectiveness of projects, and holding CROs accountable for deliverables.

Be involved in selecting new CROs where appropriate, based on your knowledge of the market as well as the criteria that you will set out in partnership with drug discovery project team members.

Work with Project Leads, Legal, Finance and Project Management to draw up new contracts, including working through the various administrative elements and vendor assessments.

Assist in developing and implementing tools to simplify internal processes and improve user experience.
